Just some of the goings on recently at our club

* Gemma Burley has qualified as a BJA Referee. Gemma having already passed the thoery side of the exam passed with flying colours the practical side. This was held at the recent International tournement at Crystal Palace. Now Gemma holds the full set as she is already a qualified coach and examiner.

AND ANOTHER QUALIFIED COACH

Congratulations to Nick Wilkins who has qualified as a BJA Club Coach. Nick returned to judo just over a year ago after taking a few years off. There was no doubting Nicks talent as a coach as he proved to be a great asset to our coaching team. But now he has the ticket now as well. Brilliant news for our club, Nick as a competitor was a regular member of the full British Mens Squad back in the 1980`s. Back then he trained at Northampton and Kettering as well as being the Senior Coach at Monks Park

* Louis Wilkins was promoted to 9th mon at the Bedford Grading

* Kyle Lovejoy-Carter was promoted to 8th mon at the Bedford Grading

* Mo Clifford was promoted to 6th mon at the club grading

* Luke Turtill was promoted to 5th mon at the club grading

* Sam Dupey-Sherratt was promoted to 5th mon at the club grading

* Kaan Uyduran Was promoted to 4th mon at the club grading

* Morgan Wilkins was promoted to 4th mon at the club grading

* Ciara Moore was promoted to 4th mon at the club grading

* Paige Burdett was promoted to 3rd mon at the recent club grading

* Billy Feltham was promoted to 3rd mon at the club grading
